UWUA OPERATION FAMILY REUNION
- A nationwide effort to provide resources
so that families of disabled and ill servicemen and servicewomen
can visit them while recuperating at Walter Reed Medical Center
in Washington, DC.
- Developed in cooperation with Army Fisher
Houses, a non-profit organization which provides lodging, meals,
and transportation for families to stay near the hospitalized
military personnel.
- 100% of all funds raised will go toward providing
these services.
- All administrative, legal, and other services
necessary to sustain the Fund will be provided without cost by
the National Union.
- All local unions are invited to contribute,
as generously as possible, to demonstrate our support for our
military personnel who are serving and sacrificing for your country.
- Contributions should be payable to "UWUA
