UWUA OPERATION FAMILY REUNION A nationwide effort to provide resources so that families of disabled and ill servicemen and servicewomen can visit them while recuperating at Walter Reed Medical Center in Washington, DC. Developed in cooperation with Army Fisher Houses, a non-profit organization which provides lodging, meals, and transportation for families to stay near the hospitalized military personnel. 100% of all funds raised will go toward providing these services. All administrative, legal, and other services necessary to sustain the Fund will be provided without cost by the National Union. All local unions are invited to contribute, as generously as possible, to demonstrate our support for our military personnel who are serving and sacrificing for your country.
